Things moved very fast from the inception; we had out first net session on 26th April and then before we knew it, we were playing our first ever game on Sunday 27th April in the Last Man Stands T20 league (Clapham Common Sunday). Unfortunately, we were more drunk than on the morning that we conceived the idea of having a cricket team, plus our captain had food poisoning, so we didn't quite get off to the start we had hoped for (the match report is of course on the main blog!)
Since then there was has been plenty of ups and downs, and as I write this, we are still yet to win a game, so it's mainly been downs.
This has led to the creation of the blog so we can discover: are The Golden Ducks the worst team in England? Having not won a single game, we are looking for help and are hoping to spread the word far and wide in the hope that someone may take pity upon us and allow us some much needed coaching.
